Venussbay Meets Exhibitors from WedExpo!

Our Guest Columnist reports from last  WedExpo

The Nigerian wedding has become a spectacle to behold, to the point that CNN about two years ago, featured the growing industry in its Inside Africa programme. WedExpo for 2 days, gave us a glimpse of what it takes. From 19-20 October 2013, the Organizers of Wed Expo, the biggest wedding fair in Nigeria held Abuja stunned with this wedding fair which took place at M and M event Centre in Area 11 Abuja.

Curious to know how the event commanded a huge turn out of Abuja residents, I asked Akin Eso, the CEO of Wed Magazine and Wed Expo Fair, who informed me that it takes proper planning, planning months ahead, dogged determination (after being told that Abuja people do not attend events) and exhausting all forms of media.

There were several offers, discounts and giveaways at the event. Grandest of all was the free 3 nights stay at any Hilton Hotel in the World, offered by Studio24 professional photographers, which also came with a 70% gift voucher to shop at Tiffany Amber. Photos of the event after the cut.
